The local church should exist in the
community in the form of many different meetings taking
place in homes, schools, business and wherever such a
gathering is permitted and may be carried out on a regular
basis.
Such local churches may consist of both
small and larger groups, each under the direction of a
leader suited to the group. Thus as Moses set up the
Israelites under leaders of 10, 50, 100 and 1000, so also
such groups may be set up under the designated leadership
of one who is qualified to lead such a group
This is the pattern the early church
operated under, meeting in many different places, and
daily bringing about the extension of the Kingdom of God
in the earth.
There is a need for periodic gathering of
the saints in large numbers for the purpose of
celebration, teaching and training. The building of a
ministry center that will cater for the local churches
surrounding it will enable the facilities to be available
for this at any time, without the additional cost of
locating suitable conference facilities. Such a place will
have been dedicated to the work of God, and will therefore
not be contaminated by the world.
In addition there needs to be a location
for the carrying out of additional functions such as
publishing, business, intercession and counseling. A
ministry center that is open 24/7 will adequately cope
with all these and all other needs for ministry that may
occur.
